Job Description

Summary

The Manager of IT Operations and Systems at The Commit Partnership will lead the implementation integration and oversight of organization-wide systems to drive operational efficiency compliance and strategic growth. This role serves as a key link between technology and cross-departmental operations with an emphasis on maximizing Microsoft 365 Salesforce and ChatGPT Enterprise capabilities. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in IT systems end-user training and organizational change management with a proactive and mission-aligned mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Systems Management
  • Co-develop and execute a strategic roadmap for enterprise-wide systems in partnership with the COO Controller and IT support team.
  • Oversee evaluation optimization and governance of core tools including Microsoft 365 ChatGPT Enterprise and Salesforce (with support from a managed services team).
  • Align systems strategy with organizational goals emphasizing collaboration automation data integrity and security.
Microsoft 365 Platform Leadership
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint Teams OneDrive Outlook and administrative/security controls.
  • Lead configuration optimization and user enablement across the platform to enhance productivity and collaboration.
ChatGPT Enterprise Ownership
  • Act as the organizational lead for ChatGPT Enterprise implementation governance and expansion.
  • Promote safe and effective AI usage across departments by developing usage policies ethical guidelines and best practices.
  • Provide strategic support and hands-on training for teams on integrating ChatGPT Enterprise into daily workflows.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and optimize repetitive or manual processes using AI.
Salesforce CRM Oversight
  • Coordinate Salesforce CRM implementation and optimization in collaboration with managed service providers.
  • Support internal teams in adopting CRM workflows and ensure effective data migration integration and customization.
  • Monitor user adoption and work with stakeholders to define use cases and enhancement opportunities.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) & Policy Compliance
  • Design and maintain SOPs for core systems (Microsoft 365 ChatGPT Enterprise Salesforce etc.) ensuring consistent and secure usage across the organization.
  • Oversee IT-related compliance processes including data governance and cybersecurity protocols.
  • Monitor adherence to systems policies and evolve procedures as tools and needs change.
Training Enablement and Support
  • Develop and deliver training for staff across key systems tailored to diverse skill levels and functional roles.
  • Create comprehensive documentation onboarding guides and how-to resources for Microsoft 365 ChatGPT Enterprise and Salesforce.
  • Facilitate refresher training sessions and act as a support point for systems-related issues or learning needs.
Systems Roadmap Development and Execution
  • Collaborate with the COO Controller IT support and key stakeholders to develop a strategic roadmap for acquiring integrating and optimizing organization-wide systems.
  • Ensure that systems align with organizational goals enhance operational efficiency and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Evaluate existing systems such as Microsoft 365 Salesforce etc and recommend improvements to streamline workflows and increase effectiveness.
The annual salary range for this role is $80000 - $94000.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems Business Administration or related field
  • 5 years of progressive experience in IT operations systems administration or digital workplace technologies
  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft 365 and hands-on leadership of enterprise tools
  • Experience managing enterprise AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT Enterprise) including rollout governance and enablement
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms; direct experience or capacity to learn from managed providers
  • Strong communication project management and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in nonprofit mission-driven or educational environments preferred

Work Environment

This position generally works in an office environment but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. The employee is not exposed to any adverse environmental conditions.

Physical Activity & Requirements

While performing the responsibilities of the job the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use repetitive motions of the wrists hands and/or fingers. This is a sedentary position; however the employee is occasionally required to stand walk reach with arms and hands grasp climb or balance and to stoop kneel crouch or crawl and lift up to 10 pounds. Hearing talking and vision abilities required by this job include perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction expressing or exchanging ideas be means of the spoken word and close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal and extensive reading.
