Reports to the appropriate Special Education Facilitator; serves as liaison between the Special Education Department and the special education teachers; assists teachers by helping to design a program to meet the individual needs of students; plans and conducts need-based training for teachers aides and parents; develop and coordinate interagency agreements and transitional activities for children moving into and out of the NCP programs.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Holds a Masters Degree from an accredited institution holds Louisiana Certification in non-categorical preschool and has a minimum of five years experience. Should satisfy Louisiana requirements for a teaching certificate with authorization for Parish/City School Supervision of Instruction or Educational Leader 1 or 2.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
