ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Junior Disbursement Analyst you will serve our clients needs by handling port and other vessels costs following Harbor Labs standards. You will also get the opportunity to work with one of the most important parties for a vessels operation our registered Agents or any other third party vendor aiming to provide the most smooth experience to the Principals through our AI-powered high-tech platform.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Check and Review the PDA and FDA costs following Harbor Labs standards
• Negotiate with agents and/or port service providers look for spot agreements or contracts on behalf of the client
• Review charter party worldscale bimco etc. to identify and mark Charterers Account or rebillable items if any in the proforma or final DA
• Effectively communicate with internal and external business stakeholders

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE

• Bachelors degree in Maritime Studies Shipping Management Maritime Economics or related field. A MSc degree will be an asset
• Up to 2 years of experience in Disbursements Operations Post-Fixture or Freight Voyage Analysis departments in a Shipping Company
• Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English both verbally and in writing

• Be creative outgoing and enthusiastic with a can-do attitude

• Experience in Husbandry / Owners Matters will be considered an asset but is not required
• Familiarity with a ship management companys day-to-day operations will be a plus
• Fulfilled military obligations (where applicable)
