Position: Lecturer - Technical Construction
Job Type:
Full-time
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences in the field of Technical Construction.
- Develop and prepare teaching materials including lesson plans assessments and practical exercises.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development.
- Engage and motivate students with innovative teaching techniques and comprehensive course content.
- Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends to enhance the curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive educational environment and interdisciplinary learning.
- Actively participate in departmental meetings events and continuous professional development opportunities.
- Support students in their educational journey providing guidance and mentorship as needed.
Essential Qualifications:
- A relevant degree in Construction Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A teaching qualification or willingness to achieve one within a specified period.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and colleagues.
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in teaching Technical Construction or a related subject.
- Experience in the construction industry or relevant vocational experience is preferred.
- A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
