Job Description
We are currently seeking a Lab & Equipment Technician with a strong background in the automotive industry to join our dynamic engineering team. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented technically skilled and passionate about automotive systems and technology. If youre looking to contribute to high-impact engineering projects in a collaborative setting wed love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain test bench and retrofit vehicle environments to support 24MM evaluation including functional combination high load and performance testing.
- Where needed design or obtain parts and conversion equipment needed to evaluate 24MM headunit interactions with other vehicle components and evaluate 21MM functions.
- Support the evaluation team for the entire life cycle of product evaluation (i.e. Planning Testing labs and equipment management and maintenance).
- Support continuous improvement and process standardization during the evaluation phase.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Vehicle Electronics Development.
- Ability to document ES (Engineering Specification) Evaluation Specification.
- Experience with development models (Agile SDLC Open source others).
- Knowledge of the following in-vehicle technology platforms (Bluetooth BLE Wifi CAN or Most).
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis triage and document.
- MS Office tools (Outlook Excel Word PowerPoint and Visio).
- Strong communication skills.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in OP monthly team meetings and participate in team-building efforts.
- Contribute to OP technical discussions peer reviews etc.
- Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
