The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:
RTX has a rare opportunity for a Sr. Manager Enterprise Services Customs Operations (ESCO). You will report directly to the Assoc. Director of ESCO within RTXs Enterprise Services organization and provide organizational leadership to a team of customs professionals & managers.
The Sr. Manager ESCO role is both exciting & challenging. This position will be a key member of the ESCO leadership team and will not only be a focal point for internal stakeholders but will also engage collaboratively with Global Trade and Customs leaders across RTX Business Units. You will lead the team responsible for operational controls & regulatory management ensuring ESCOs compliant and efficient import and export Customs filings and optimization of duty mitigation strategies.
What You Will Do
Ensuring compliance with global trade / customs laws policies and procedures (both internal and government requirements) and service level agreements
Driving continuous improvement of customs processes based on deep dive metrics analytics & changing Global Trade regulations
Engaging and collaborating with leaders across RTX on key Global Trade & Customs initiatives including enhancing duty mitigation strategies
Leading operationalization of duty mitigation strategies
Leading & growing the Global Customs Liaison program (customer facing outreach program)
Providing operational oversight of pre & post quality audit support and customs entry value reconciliation program
Supporting development of & implementation of automation and functional standard work
Representing ESCO on various Corporate Customs & Global Trade steering committees & councils
Managing operations quarterly business reviews with stakeholders and brokers
Furthering a culture of high performance and innovation to attract develop and retain top talent and achievebusiness objectives
Providing support and mentorship to Customs professionals across the organization
Qualifications You Must Have
Licensed Customs Broker
A Bachelors Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience in U.S. Customs or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
Experience supervising people onsite and in hybrid and remote environments
Strong working knowledge of U.S. and International Government Global Trade / Customs laws and regulations policies processes and programs including customs filings and reconciliations Free Trade Agreements Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism U.S. Customs & Boarder Protection Foreign Trade Zones Duty Drawback and Harmonized Tarriff Schedules
Qualifications We Prefer
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills specifically related to leading teams and motivating coaching and developing employees
An advanced degree in Customs law or an MBA are strongly preferred
Global Trade and Customs experience in the manufacturing industry working for a U.S. DoD contractor highly preferred
Proven ability to act as a change agent
Demonstrated experience in developing and managing KPIs leading process improvements and creating effective and meaningful communications
Data driven approach with significant experience using metrics to drive performance

The salary range for this role is 124000 USD - 250000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
