We are seeking an Assurance Advisor to provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) support to the Manager Risk Office in the development and continuous improvement of the Universitys assurance programme encompassing internal audit unusual transaction analysis fraud prevention & detection whistleblower investigations conflict of interest and Audit and Risk Committee reporting.
You will work to continually develop enhance and embed the University Assurance programme and build capability within the University community through below activities and more:

This is a 12 month fixed term contract. Salary range is $85000-$101000 plus benefits.

Risk Office is responsible for development and implementation of the Universitys risk management framework crisis and incident management processes oversight of insurance and audit and development of capability in the Universitys risk and assurance community.

We are seeking someone with 3 to 5 years post graduate experience (assurance business processes risk compliance). It is essential that you have a relevant tertiary qualification and a finance background.
You will thrive in this role if you understand the tertiary education sector or have research and innovation experience. Your ability to engage and develop capability with stakeholders across different levels will make your application stand out.
