Job Description
About the Role:
The Commercial Lines Account Executive is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. The role will develop strong relationships with clients and work to understand their insurance needs providing excellent customer service and ensuring their satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a commercial insurance book including policy renewals marketing endorsements and new business.
- Deliver prompt accurate and friendly client service including quoting and policy changes.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities to meet client needs.
- Build strong client relationships with a deep understanding of their business and insurance needs.
- Negotiate with carriers and wholesales to secure favorable terms.
- Partner with Producers to develop strategies to retain and grow accounts.
- Stay current on industry trends regulations and coverage options
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and resolve client issues efficiently.
Role Requirements:
- 5 years of related insurance experience within P&C commercial lines (real estate insurance experience preferred)
- Holds an active Property & Casualty license (insurance designations are preferred)
- Strong understanding of commercial lines products coverages and policy language.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proficient in an Agency Management System (AMS360 preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Organized detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
