Job Description

About the Role:

The Commercial Lines Account Executive is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. The role will develop strong relationships with clients and work to understand their insurance needs providing excellent customer service and ensuring their satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a commercial insurance book including policy renewals marketing endorsements and new business.
  2. Deliver prompt accurate and friendly client service including quoting and policy changes.
  3. Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities to meet client needs.
  4. Build strong client relationships with a deep understanding of their business and insurance needs.
  5. Negotiate with carriers and wholesales to secure favorable terms.
  6. Partner with Producers to develop strategies to retain and grow accounts.
  7. Stay current on industry trends regulations and coverage options
  8. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and resolve client issues efficiently.

Role Requirements:

  • 5 years of related insurance experience within P&C commercial lines (real estate insurance experience preferred)
  • Holds an active Property & Casualty license (insurance designations are preferred)
  • Strong understanding of commercial lines products coverages and policy language.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficient in an Agency Management System (AMS360 preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Organized detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
