Key Relationship Manager / Business Development Manager - North West England
Our client a highly successful financial services provider seeking an experienced and dynamic Key Relationship Manager / Business Development Manager to join their team. This is a newly created role focused on expanding introducer relationships and generating new business opportunities for their team of Mortgage Brokers and Commercial Finance Brokers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deepen relationships with key introducers including accountants property professionals and internal stakeholders.
- Proactively source and onboard new introducers creating a strong and sustainable pipeline of quality referrals
- Collaborate closely with the internal broker team to align business development activity with the firms growth targets
- Represent the brand at industry events networking opportunities and introducer meetings
- Provide market intelligence and feedback to management to help refine strategy and product positioning
- Track monitor and report on introducer performance pipeline quality and conversion rates
- Act as a trusted point of contact for introducers ensuring service excellence and long-term partnership
Requirements:
- Proven track record in business development or relationship management within financial services (e.g. mortgages commercial finance invoice finance asset finance)
- Strong existing network of introducers or ability to build relationships quickly.
- Solid understanding of the UK mortgage and/or commercial finance market
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Self-starter with strong organisational skills and commercial acumen
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative results-driven team
