What youll be doing
As a member of the Product Development & Management youll be responsible for supporting CIBC ETFs in product innovation and development product shelf management and strategic priorities across our ETF offer. This includes development of new ETF strategies and managing CIBC ETF product enhancements. You will be required to contribute to managing the product pipeline by taking into consideration sales and client feedback market data as well as the broader competitor landscape. You will play a critical role in product strategy commercialization and product management while interacting with many different teams across the organization (sales marketing index providers portfolio management amongst others). You will be a seasoned expert responsible for developing and partnering with the lines of business to drive growth supporting and executing the development of ETF products. You will work with minimal direction and apply a thorough understanding of products pricing plans client segments and competitive market behavior to develop and recommend plans and tactics to optimize the product mix enhance client experience and enable clients to achieve their ambitions. You will exercise considerable judgement for decision making on complex issues contributing to the product planning product development product management product performance in fulfilling the needs of CIBC clients in an efficient and competitive manner.

How youll succeed
Product Development & management - Strong knowledge and experience in product design management strategic planning and project management sufficient to identify develop and implement approved initiatives (experience preferably in financial services).
Analytical - Understand and interpret complex information identify patterns and trends in new or strategic areas and develop recommendations often with minimal direction in order to respond to urgent business priorities.
Leadership - Well-developed management and leadership skills sufficient to achieve results within a matrix organization including the ability to bring about change at a senior level.
Relationship management - Meet business objectives by managing relationships and working effectively with internal and external partners including Marketing and other lines of business partners and vendors.
Who you are
You can demonstrate experience in business planning business model development and pricing best-practices You also have in-depth knowledge of ETF products. You have strategic planning skills sufficient to establish and co-ordinate complex assignments and projects which can be ambiguous in nature. You have 3-5 years of Investment product development ideally in ETF efficiency in MS office suite (Excel Word PowerPoint) and Morningstar direct proficiency.
