About the role

Ready to take your warehouse leadership skills to the next level Join our team at the QCoal Northern Hub Project as a Warehouse Supervisor and step into a permanent opportunity on a lifestyle-friendly 5/2 roster.
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent youll play a key role in ensuring the efficient management of warehouse operations supporting maintenance and site activities through effective inventory control and materials handling.
Located just 6km south of Collinsville in Queenslands beautiful Bowen Basin the QCoal Northern Hub is where opportunity meets lifestyle.

Working a 5/2 Day shift only roster and reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent your duties will include:

  • Manage influence and empower the team to ensure the warehouse is appropriately stocked and resources and used efficiently.
  • Lead coach and develop team members by setting clear expectations
  • Establish maintain and promote high standards of customer service to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure efficient operation of the warehouse by coordinating deliveries with carriers and adhering to schedules and deadlines.
  • Maintain the stores efficiently and ensure the Inventory is optimised so that parts and equipment for mobile fleet and fixed plant are available in order to meet organisational and maintenance targets.

About you

  • Proven leadership and people management skills within a Warehouse Supervisor role
  • High Risk Forklift Licence is essential
  • Exceptional organisational communication and time management skills
  • Prioritising and problem-solving are second nature
  • Proficiency in JD Edwards Microsoft Word Outlook and Excel is vital
  • Understanding of the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act and Regulations
