Position Summary

We are seeking a Full-Time Guest Service Agent to join our front desk team. This critical role is responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests throughout their stay from check-in to check-out. The ideal candidate is friendly dependable detail-oriented and passionate about hospitality. Whether assisting guests face-to-face or over the phone you will be the welcoming voice and helpful hand that represents The Connally Hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist guests with check-in check-out and throughout their stay
  • Handle guest inquiries requests and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records using hotel systems
  • Collaborate with housekeeping engineering and other departments to fulfill guest needs
  • Maintain a clean organized and welcoming front desk and lobby area
  • Assist in booking reservations and promoting hotel amenities and local attractions
  • Monitor lobby activity and ensure guest safety and security
  • Support other front desk agents and shifts as needed to ensure smooth operations

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a hotel front desk or guest service role preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Comfortable using computers; knowledge of hotel property management systems is a plus
  • Ability to handle pressure and resolve issues with professionalism
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus
  • Knowledge of basic safety and security procedures
