Background
The Climate Emergency Collaboration Group (CECG) is a philanthropic collaboration between some of the worlds largest climate philanthropies. Our mission is to support and build a diverse ecosystem of actors to drive just and ambitious multilateral climate action that is more responsive to the needs of the worlds most climate vulnerable. Ensuring the success of the annual UNFCCC Conference of the Parties (COPs) is central to this mission and we believe that each COP has the potential to be a catalysing moment for collective action impactful organizing and powerful storytelling. The CECG is a multi-million dollar pooled fund administered by Rockefeller Philanthropic Advisors (RPA) with a mission to rapidly deploy funds into the global climate movement to support a strategy that delivers increased climate action.

Purpose of role
The Partnerships Coordinator will be responsible for building and maintaining essential administrative operational and process development support for the fundraising function ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and laying the groundwork for efficient and professional fundraising practices.

Primary responsibilities
The job holder will have the following key responsibilities:

Partnership Coordination
Donor Engagement Coordination
  • Manage the administration of the Donor Group including maintaining member engagement records coordinating and disseminating communications scheduling the monthly meetings and preparing resources and materials.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of fundraising and stewardship events including online briefings in-person receptions and virtual campaigns e.g. Big Gives Green Match Fund.
  • Support the Partnerships Manager inpreparing materials such as reports presentations and donor correspondence.
Support Award Management
  • Collectand reviewinformation on prospective funders to ensure compliance with organisational policies and legal obligations and preparedocumentation and coordinate responses to due diligence requests from funders.
Experience
  • Broad experience of administrative support ideally in the fundraising sector.
  • Good exposure to customer or donor databases
  • Significant experience infundraising operations development services or non-profit administration.
  • Significant experience coordinating logistics for proposals grant reporting or stewardship.
  • Experience in process mapping and improvement projects.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methods.
  • Prior involvement in data analysis and reporting for fundraising.
  • Strong experience of data entry and record keeping.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software (e.g. Excel Word PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in CRM/database management (e.g. Salesforce Raisers Edge)
