Job Description

Highland Park Acura is seeking a highly motivated and experienced New Car Sales Manager to lead our dynamic sales team. As the New Car Sales Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the new car sales department driving sales performance and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead motivate and mentor the new car sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies and initiatives to drive new car sales growth and market share.
Manage the new car inventory including ordering pricing and merchandising to optimize profitability and turnover.
Monitor market trends competitor activities and customer preferences to identify opportunities for sales growth and expansion.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment promoting teamwork accountability and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with dealership policies procedures and industry regulations governing new car sales operations.
Provide exceptional customer service by actively engaging with customers addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturers vendors and business partners to support sales initiatives and marketing campaigns.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive sales management preferably in a luxury brand dealership environment.
Proven track record of success in driving new car sales performance achieving sales targets and exceeding customer satisfaction goals.
Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing sales team.
Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and colleagues.
In-depth knowledge of automotive sales processes dealership operations and industry trends.
Proficiency in using dealership management systems (DMS) and sales tracking software.
Bachelors degree in business administration marketing or related field preferred.
