Job Title: New Car Sales Manager

Position: Full-time commission
Location: Phoenix AZ

We are currently seeking an experienced and driven New Car Sales Manager to lead our Chevrolet/GM sales team. If you have a passion for the automotive industry a proven track record in sales leadership and specific experience with General Motors vehicles wed love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the new car sales department to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Recruit train motivate and coach a high-performing sales team.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels in coordination with the manufacturer and internal departments.
  • Ensure all sales activities are in compliance with dealership policies manufacturer programs and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies promotions and lead management practices.
  • Maintain a customer-focused environment that delivers a consistent high-quality buying experience.
  • Collaborate with finance service and marketing teams to ensure seamless customer transitions and retention.
  • Analyze sales data and trends to forecast performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally to ensure satisfaction and long-term loyalty.

Required Qualifications:

  • Chevrolet or General Motors sales management experience.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a sales team toward achieving KPIs and revenue goals.
  • Deep understanding of the GM sales process inventory management tools and OEM reporting systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Sales & Negotiation Skills Ability to close deals while building trust and value.
  • Leadership & Team Management Experience mentoring and developing a top-performing team.
  • Customer Service Excellence Commitment to delivering a premium customer experience.
  • Communication Skills Clear persuasive and professional verbal and written communication.
  • Automotive Industry Knowledge Up-to-date knowledge of GM products market trends and compliance.
  • Time Management & Organization Skilled in prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability & Problem Solving Resourceful solution-oriented and able to pivot with changing demands.
