Job Description
- Perform take-offs based on drawings and designs to estimate material costs.
- Create detailed structural models and technical drawings using Tekla software.
- Interpret architectural and engineering plans to ensure accurate drafting.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Modify and update drawings as required to reflect design changes.
- Maintain documentation and records related to drafting and estimation.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Architecture or a related field is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in drafting or structural design; precast experience is essential
- Proficiency in Tekla software for modelling and drafting.
- Strong understanding of structural design principles and construction methods.
- Experience in material take-offs and cost estimation.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and calculations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering is preferred. 3+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on Australian standards. Proficiency in structural analysis, and design software is an advantage. Strong understanding of Australian building codes and standards. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Additional Job Details: Set-up and Location: Hybrid (Ortigas, Alabang, Pampanga, Cebu) Work Schedule: 9:00AM to 6:00PM (AWST) | 9:00AM to 6:00PM (PH) Employment Type: Full-time All interviews and other hiring requirements are done virtually or through video calls or emails.
