Our client is ready to hire an Inventor Designer for some project work in the St. Louis MO area in office for a contract to possible direct hire. The schedule consists ofM-Th in office and 8:00 am - 12:00 pm Friday schedule. If you or anyone you know is interested in this opportunity please click Apply Now.
Responsibilities for this position will be making design suggestions where needed as well as creating detail drawings and layouts for 2D and 3D for Engineering Fabrication and industrial site Field installation. You will be working in the office M-TH with a 1/2 day Friday which is performed remote.
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering Technology Mechanical Engineering or other related field is a plus!
- Experience with Inventor in a career position - minimum of 2 years
- Experience in detailing Engineering Fabrication and field installation drawings
- Experience with heavy industry metals and steel is a plus!
- Experience with XML format
- Able to compile necessary information for suppliers
- Structural knowledge and experience is a plus
