Our dedicated Victim Assistance Program assists individuals with their management of the impact of crime. Through the provision of consumer focussed case management services we promote recovery and minimise secondary victimisation sometimes experienced in the criminal justice systems. We are experts in this space and on the verge of expansion - we currently support 3000 consumers each year and this will grow as we expand into new regions.

As the Victim Support Worker you will respond to victims of violent crime provide information and advice assist them to navigate the justice system and refer to specialist services as required. You will also liaise with other victim services including Family Violence and Sexual Assault Services. Success will be achieved when victims feel empowered receive a tailored service according to their goals and focused on their individual safety and recovery. A Driver Licence is essential as youll provide both outreach and remote services to your consumers. All expertise levels will be considered and rewarded accordingly however experience with family violence is essential! This is a permanent part-time opportunity (0.8 / 4 days per week) and located in Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. *As Windermere is a not-for-profit organisation employees are able to claim everyday living expenses up to $15900 against their annual Pre-Tax Salary.
