Job Title: Communications Assistant
Job Classification:Administrative and Office Services Student
Department: Office of Engaged Learning
Hiring Manager: Amanda Nowlin
Contact:
Work Schedule: Minimum 10hrs per week between the hours of 8am and 5pm
Desired Length of Employment: Fall/Ongoing
Pay Rate: $9.50
Job Description:
- General duties will include:
- Assist with Social Media account
- Assist with various projects and campus activities
- Mail pick-up campus deliveries
- Website work
- Creating posters/flyers for special events
- Photography for special events
- Assist with URSA Scholars Week every Spring
- Other duties as assigned
General Qualifications:
- Prior experience running social media accounts creating new content
- Experience in creating posters/flyers
- Strongly preferred: Knowledgeable in Canva Adobe Programs
- Exhibit a willingness to take initiative and work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to comply with University policies and procedures
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
