Work Arrangement
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Warren MI three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.
The Role
This position provides financial analysis support for Purchasing Business Partner teams in order to influence decisions related to cost reduction investments and profitability. This role works closely with other departments such as Accounting Legal Treasury etc. to ensure that all monthly closing activities are completed accurately and timely.
What Youll Do (Responsibilities)
Develops and maintains financial models and data sets used to analyze operations and forecast future results
Prepares presentations and summaries of analyses for senior leadership review
Participates in the development of department strategic plans and annual operating budgets
Reviews reports detailing actual performance versus planned performance and explains variances
Assists commodity managers in identifying key issues impacting their performance and recommends appropriate actions
Evaluates the effectiveness of current processes and systems and develops recommendations for process improvements
Manages special projects as assigned by supervisor
This job is not eligible for relocation benefits. Any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the selected candidate

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
Bachelors degree in finance accounting economics or equivalent
2 years of relevant work experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel PowerPoint
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Self-motivated individual who takes initiative and has excellent organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting established deadlines

Work experience in Power BI
