Job Title: PR Communications Intern
Job Location: Rijswijk Netherlands (Full-time on-site)
Internship Duration: 4 - 12 Months
As a PR Communications Intern you will play a key role in supporting Huaweis Consumer division in the Benelux with media relations brand positioning and external communications. You will work closely with the Marketing & PR Manager to execute communication strategies and help drive brand visibility across key markets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of PR and communication
plans. - Plan and coordinate media projects product launches fairs and
conferences. - Manage day-to-day media relations including responding to media
inquiries and maintaining press contacts. - Write compelling press releases speeches and PR copy to support
campaigns. - Build and nurture relationships with partner organizations and
generate publicity for CSR initiatives. - Support the marketing team in creating and adapting digital content
for various social media channels. - Manage and update the PR calendar to ensure consistent high-quality communications aligned with business needs.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify PR
opportunities. - Assist with the implementation of promotional campaigns and assess
their impact. - Stay informed on developments in the media landscape and
contribute creative ideas to improve audience engagement.
Requirements:
- University degree in preferably Marketing Communication
Journalism or a related field. - Prior experience in PR media or copywriting is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English (French and/or Chinese is a plus).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
- Solid project management skills with attention to detail and a
proactive mindset. - Creative thinker with a reliable and hands-on attitude.
- Strong knowledge of the Dutch media and social media landscape.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word PowerPoint Excel)
