As a Senior Business Analyst you will lead business analysis efforts on complex government initiatives. This role involves advanced requirements management stakeholder engagement process reengineering and supporting the successful implementation of enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead strategic planning and process improvement efforts across government systems and services.
Drive requirements gathering and documentation through workshops interviews and analysis.
Guide junior analysts and facilitate collaboration between agency stakeholders and technical teams.
Develop and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices and user stories in support of Agile delivery.
Conduct gap analysis and business impact assessments for proposed initiatives.
Lead UAT planning and execution to validate requirements before deployment.
Produce executive-level reports and briefs for oversight and compliance stakeholders.
Ensure project compliance with frameworks such as FISMA NIST and federal/state data policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Business Computer Science or Public Policy.
6 years of experience as a business analyst with at least 3 years supporting public sector projects.
Deep understanding of SDLC Agile and regulatory frameworks in government environments.
Certifications preferred: CBAP PMI-PBA PMP or Agile certifications (Scrum SAFe).
