Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team in Bangkok Thailand. As a key member of our engineering department you will be responsible for designing and analyzing various structural systems for buildings and infrastructure projects.
- Develop and execute structural designs for an infrastructure project
- Perform complex structural calculations and analysis using advanced software tools
- Create and review structural drawings specifications and other technical documents
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects MEP engineers and construction professionals
- Ensure compliance with local building codes standards and regulations
- Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress
- Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering practices
- Stay updated on industry trends innovative technologies and sustainable design practices
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in structural engineering
- Proficiency in structural analysis and modeling software such as ETABS STAAD RAM SAFE or SAP
- Experience with structural drafting software including AutoCAD REVIT and MicroStation
- Strong knowledge of current structural engineering codes and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Outstanding attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with structural design tools like TEDDS SAP2000 or Mathcad is preferred
- Familiarity with various types of structural building design including high-rise buildings historical building retrofits and post-tensioned construction is a plus
- Thai language proficiency is beneficial but not required
- Willingness to adapt to the local work culture and environment in Bangkok
