- BMS Lead: Act as the PMC lead for all BMS-related works across design execution and commissioning stages.
- Project Support: Report directly to the MEP Lead and provide Escalation updates risk reports and coordination logs.
- Team Leadership: Conduct regular coordination meetings with contractors consultants and facilities operations teams to review progress and resolve issues.
- Collaboration and Communication: Communicate with contractors to ensure compliance with client standards and project specifications.
- Facilitating Meetings: Coordinate with the facility team for system readiness and final handover alignment.
- Strategic planning: Follow up with BMS vendors on site schedules delivery timelines and resource deployment to avoid delays.
- Process Documentation: Review and approve technical submittals design drawings and integration strategies for the BMS scope.
- Data Analysis: Oversee and participate in testing and commissioning (T&C) including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and Integrated System Testing (IST).
- Operations Coordination: Ensure BMS integration with other systems such as HVAC Fire Alarm Access Control Lighting Control and SCADA.
- Performance Tracking: Track contractor/vendor performance verify milestone completion and ensure timely deliverables.
- Program Coordination: Manage changes to BMS scope and assess impacts on cost schedule and quality.
- Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Malaysian regulations (Suruhanjaya Tenaga DOSH) and global standards (ASHRAE ISO IEC Uptime Institute).
- Issue Identification: Verify Vendor physical installation work on site if required ensuring alignment with design intent and specification.
- Execution: Conduct and support QA/QC inspection in line with company standard and procedures.
- Team Leadership and Management: Support MEP lead as required on project coordination reporting or decision-making matter from time to time.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Electrical and Control Engineering Mechanical Controls/Automation Engineering or related discipline.
- 10 years of relevant work experience in in BMS controls; minimum 5 years in a PMC or contractor role in critical industries with cleanroom / advanced manufacturing industry preferred.
- Knowledge in electrical wiring design positioning control and troubleshooting.
- Experience managing electrical/control projects and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficient in BMS architecture programming logic and field instrumentation.
- Experienced in integration protocols (BACnet Modbus etc.) and working with top-tier BMS platforms (e.g. Honeywell Siemens Schneider JCI).
- Familiar with T&C qualifications and system handover processes for mission-critical facilities.
