Job Description

  • Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure to send Booking confirmations to Customers within the agreed time frame
  • Preparing documentation including bookings container releases
  • Prepare and submit Cargo receival advise to Shippers
  • Create slot cover bookings on connecting vessels for all transhipment cargo
  • Prepare and submit booking reports to third party vessel operators
  • Attached Shippers SLI to Edocs update bookings based on this document
  • Auto rate bookings prior to handing over to Documentation team advise Sales of any rate discrepancies
  • Cargo Readiness ensure approvals received ( DG and BBK OOG) mty cntr uplifted cargo in port for loading
  • Arrange late receivals if required
  • Sending preliminary PRA load list to vessel planners
  • Send final PRA load list to vessel planners
  • Once vessel sailed reconcile load list against PRA and updated in CargoWise and provide finalised load list to EXPORT Documentation team.
  • Process all documentation on behalf of principals and send pre-alert and schedule information to customers
  • Download and compile manifest and invoices and arranging for distribution to local authorities and internal customers
  • Compiling manifest bill of ladings and invoices in a timely manner including amendments as required
  • Responsible for data entry of bills and freight details into system
  • First point of contact for customer complaints and enquiries related to documentation and escalation process when necessary 
  • Self-checked on accuracy of internal and external documents
  • Supporting internal customers with adhoc documentation requests
  • Raise Purchase Orders in Oracle System
  • Handle general enquires from customers
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications :

  • 3 - 5 years shipping / freight experience in similar position
  • Team player with positive customer-centric attitude
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated adaptability to work to changing deadlines
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • CargoWise Super User
  • Proficient training experience in CargoWise
  • Effective Time management and planning skills
