THE POSITION: Facilities Coordinator
The Shade Store is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to join our Facilities & Construction Department. Were entering a phase of aggressive growth so this is an exciting time to join the team that builds maintains and supports our 150 showrooms. The Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for providing departmental support including a range of administrative functions. You will assist in all aspects of maintaining existing showrooms. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support our nationwide showrooms by responding to and tracking service requests including off-hours emergencies
- Place and track orders through delivery for supplies product and displays
- Monitor order process through installation and collect/file all documentation
- Follow up with showroom staff on all service requests to ensure and document completion
- Create and request purchase orders for projects and repairs/maintenance
- Assist with leasing files and project documents
- Act as a liaison between Facilities & Construction internal departments and outside vendors (I.e. Sales Staff Property Manager Representatives General Contractors)
- Maintain and update departmental files including weekly project trackers ServiceChannel site contact sheets proposals purchase orders invoices permits licenses and the showroom display and dcor library
- Backup and assist team members as needed
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- High school diploma or equivalent required Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
- 1-2 years relevant work experience
- Proficient in MS Office and web applications
- Experience with ServiceChannel preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service skills to facilitate interaction between internal teams and vendors
- Effective time management organizational and communication skills
- Self-starter with great attention to detail
- Willingness to be on-call off-hours/weekends as necessary
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings
- Basic understanding of MEP and architectural building systems

The hourly range for this position is $30-$35/hour commensurate with experience.
