Director- IT Services

The Director of IT Services will be responsible for leading the operations of Sobi North America (NA) IT in the functions of service desk infrastructure security and network.  This role will ensure that the IT services deliver operationally excellent capabilities to enable our colleagues and the business functions they support.   

This is a remote opportunity with occasional travel to the Waltham MA office.

The successful candidate will have the skills to collaborate with a global IT team where primary IT services are performed and manage capability development and delivery to meet Sobi NA needs.

The successful candidate will partner and collaborate with Operations in their work to enable data operations as well general technology support to other functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the IT service desk and infrastructure team by providing direction mentorship and career development opportunities.
• Define and implement the IT infrastructure strategy to support Sobis business objectives and growth in North America.
• Partner co-design and manage robust scalable and secure IT infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the global IT team to deliver infrastructure and integration services. 
• Lead the integration of IT infrastructure and systems during mergers and acquisitions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including GxP FDA and EU guidelines for IT infrastructure and data systems.
• Oversee the implementation and support of A/V and networking technology at Waltham and Morrisville office locations.

Qualifications :

Qualifications:

• 15 years of experience with a solid understanding of cloud-based IT infrastructure and workplace services.  Hands on Azure experience a plus.
• 15 years of experience in biotech pharmaceutical healthcare industry is required.
• Proven experience in designing and managing IT infrastructure in a rapidly growing organization.
• Strong technical background in service desk cloud infrastructure and information security operations.
• Experience in post-acquisition technology integration.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to cultivate strong working relationships.
• Demonstrated success working as a business partner in a matrix organization.
• Experience working at an international company that leverages core global IT services.

Additional Information :

The base salary pay range for this role is $175000-$240000 annually. Actual pay for this position will take into account factors such as experience and location. In addition to a base salary this position is also eligible for a competitive 401k match short and long-term incentives medical dental vision STD/LTD and life insurance benefits in addition to other health and wellness programs and offerings.
