This role presents a unique opportunity to lead and manage a diverse team of BME engineers at the cutting edge of battery cell manufacturing. As a key member of the Blue Oval SK (BOSK) Joint Venture the successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and launching advanced manufacturing processes that shape the future of mobility and energy solutions.
ResponsibilitiesWhat youll do...
- Lead manufacturing engineering teams in the design development and launch of joint venture battery cell manufacturing systems.
- Manage a team of BME engineers to deliver department objectives resource management departments financials and teams skill development.
- Support executive report outs and presentations.
- Collaborate closely with strategic technology partner SK and a wide network of equipment OEMs to meet program timing process execution and technical knowledge.
- Manage resources to assist BOSK operations to meet throughput constraints takt time and productivity requirements while maintaining world-class quality safety and cost targets.
- Align system design and implementation with capital investment plans and program timing to ensure scalable and timely execution.
- Work closely with Product Design Supplier Technical Assistance (STA) and BOSK Production teams to ensure manufacturability process capability and successful product launch.
- Assist and guide root cause analysis using the 5D problem-solving process and support emerging issue resolution to address complex time-sensitive and quality manufacturing opportunities.
- Contribute to the development and deployment of BOSK Operations embedding best practices throughput-driven KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and guide BME engineers promoting a culture of technical excellence structured problem-solving and team capability building.
- Capture lessons learned to build a closed looped knowledge base with Ford BME BOSK TN counterparts.
QualificationsYoull have...
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology.
- 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
- 1 years of demonstrated leadership experience.
- Proven experience in configuring integrating and programming robotic applications
- Technical Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in robotic programming and integration.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Familiarity with EV battery manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
- Domestic or International Travel 10%.

- Masters degree in Engineering or Technology.
- 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
- At least 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
