Job Description

Responsibilities:

Conduct regularly scheduled new hire orientation classes. Prepares all documentation handouts and manuals needed for new hire orientation classes.

Conduct regularly scheduled CPI CPR and First Aid refresher courses for existing employees. Completes all documents required by CPI and American Red Cross.

Responsible for ordering all materials needed to conduct training classes.

Provide Payroll with attendance rosters for training classes.

Ensure that all training materials are current and are presented in a professional manner.

Conduct in-service training for continuum wide programs as needed.

Contact person for new hires in pre-service orientation training.

Ensures that all paperwork and other documentation included in the training and new hire orientation process is completed correctly in a timely manner and filed as necessary.

Monitors and responds to Pre-Service Training Survey responses.

Assists with training calendars to include all classes dates times and instructors if applicable.

Responsible for annual orientation materials and proper distribution to supervisors.

Monitors and ensures updated and accurate information in MFH Classroom posttests and in-services.

Assist Director of Teaching Family Services with TFM Evaluations.

Travel to other programs to assist/conduct training and in-services as needed.

Perform all other related tasks as requested by the Director of Teaching Family Services and/or Director of Human Resources.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree preferred.

Certified CPI CPR and First Aid instructor or become certified within six months of hire.

Certified in the Teaching-Family Model.

Excellent computer skills (Microsoft applications).

Must be professional in speech and appearance.

Strong communication skills the ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment and the ability to work without direct supervision.

Willing and able to travel.

Valid Arkansas drivers license be insurable and authorized to drive MFH vehicles.

Flu shot is mandatory and required for all positions (subject only to qualified exemptions).

Other: The individual employed in this position may accept other reasonable assignments which may be necessary for efficient operation of assigned programs as there is time and opportunity.

Level One - Full Access: Ongoing regular access to PHI of all forms while the employee is on duty and performing within the scope of his or her job as defined by the employees job description and Policy and Procedure. Such access must be for cause consistent with job responsibilities and related to patients claims audits reviews and other legitimate business purposes. (e.g. Physicians nurses and other clinicians)
