Role- Graduate Controls Engineer
Salaryper annum (dependent on experience please advise)
Type- Permanent
Location- Berkshire
My client work within engineering and manufacturing and they are looking to take on a Graduate Controls Engineer to develop as part of their team on a permanent basis in the Berkshire area.
The Graduate Electrical Engineer / Graduate Controls Engineer role will ideally have the following attributes:
- Apprenticeship / HNC/ HND / BTEC / City & Guilds / Degree qualification or similar in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Have knowledge or experience of working with PLC systems Siemens Allen Bradley or similar
- Any CAD skills would be beneficial
- Knowledge of Ethernet Profibus or similar would be ideal but not essential
- Have excellent hands-on capabilities too with panel building and wiring
- Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
The Graduate Electrical Engineer / Graduate Controls Engineer role will involve:
- Working within the existing engineering technical team
- Being involved in automation projects
- Working with other Mechanical and Electrical Engineers
- Working on PLCs panels wiring
- Producing the required technical documentation too
- Interfacing with customers when required
- Some travel to customer sites will be involved too
