We are currently looking for a (VR) Streaming Engineer to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on creative problem-solving and technical precision. Youll have the opportunity to develop cutting-edge real-time stitching pipelines while helping to establish scalable professional processes from the ground up. This is not a buzzword job its a real opportunity to build something meaningful.
Tasks
What Youll Do
- Design build and maintain real-time streaming pipelines (GStreamer-based)
- Implement and manage streaming integrations with AWS services (e.g. CloudFront)
- Analyze performance and optimize latency during live operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex streaming scenarios in real time
Requirements
What Were Looking For
- Solid experience with GStreamer or similar media frameworks
- Proficiency in live streaming technologies protocols (e.g. RTP RTMP HLS) and formats
- Familiarity with AWS services such as CloudFront MediaLive or Elemental
- Strong skills in network debugging and latency optimization
- Experience with Linux-based environments and scripting (Bash Python)
- Understanding of real-time media encoding transport and CDN distribution
- A hands-on approach and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced start-up
- Bonus: Knowledge of WebRTC adaptive bitrate streaming or FFmpeg internals
