Talent Acquisition Specialist

Remote (Nashville Based Candidates Preferred)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a critical role responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment efforts across various business functions within the organization. This position focuses on identifying sourcing interviewing and hiring top talent to meet AMSURGs staffing needs while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.

As a trusted advisor the Talent Acquisition Specialist will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements design tailored recruitment strategies and maintain a robust talent pipeline. Additionally this role will contribute to employer branding initiatives including recruitment marketing campaigns to attract high-quality candidates.

Success in this role requires strong communication strategic thinking and a results-oriented mindset. This dynamic role is ideal for someone passionate about connecting top talent with the right opportunities and helping the organization achieve its workforce goals

Work Schedule: This is a Remote First role with Nashville Based candidates preferred.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • End-to-End Recruitment:

    • Full Lifecycle Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment process for a wide range of roles from entry-level to executive leadership positions.
    • Thorough Screenings: Source screen interview and assess candidates for both technical clinical and leadership roles.
    • Candidate Engagement & Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruiting process ensuring clear communication feedback and a positive experience. Provide feedback to candidates and guide them through the interview process. Cultivate long-term relationships with high potential candidates for future opportunities.
    • Candidate Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates particularly for future hiring needs senior level and hard-to-fill positions.
    • Proactive Sourcing: Utilize advanced sourcing techniques and tools (such as LinkedIn direct outreach professional networks and industry groups) to identify high-quality candidates.
    • Executive Search: Lead executive search efforts to identify engage and recruit senior leaders including C-suite VP and Director-level talent.
    • Job Board Management & SEO Knowledge: Stay informed on the latest trends algorithms and best practices for job boards and online recruiting platforms. Optimize job postings using SEO techniques to enhance visibility and attract top talent.
    • Data Management: Keep detailed notes on candidate screenings/assessments interview outcomes and status updates throughout the hiring process.
    • Offer Negotiation and Closing: Extend job offers negotiate terms and work with candidates to ensure successful offer acceptance. Manage complex negotiations including compensation relocation and other terms ensuring a smooth and positive candidate and hiring manager experience. Collaborate on creating compelling offers and ensuring a smooth hiring process for senior candidates.
    • Onboarding Support: Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Coordinator to ensure a seamless transition from recruitment to onboarding for new hires. Assist in preparing onboarding plans for AMSURG corporate leadership roles including cultural integration and leadership development resources.
    • Strategic Partnership: Partner closely with senior leadership and hiring managers to understand the departments strategic objectives and talent needs especially for senior and high-impact roles. Provide guidance and counsel to hiring managers on candidate selection compensation structures and best practices for interviewing candidates.
    • Compliance: Ensure all recruitment practices comply with company policies legal requirements and industry standards. Maintains confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive search information.
    • Enhance Employer Brand: Represent the company as a brand ambassador ensuring a consistent and positive image throughout the hiring process. Promote AMSURGs culture mission and values to attract top-tier talent. Coordinate and attend executive networking events job fairs and other industry-related events to promote the companys opportunities.
    • Referral Programs: Manage and promote employee referral programs to increase candidate flow and reduce hiring time.
    • Diversity and Inclusion: Support diversity initiatives by ensuring a fair unbiased and inclusive recruitment process.
    • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with recruiting trends best practices and industry changes to continuously improve recruitment strategies and processes. Participate in recruiting-related training to enhance interviewing skills sourcing techniques negotiation skills and more. Solicit feedback from hiring managers and candidates to continuously improve the recruitment process.
    • Data & Reporting: Track and report on recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill. Use data to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and adjust tactics accordingly. Monitor trends in the job market and talent acquisition best practices to ensure the company remains competitive in attracting talent.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skills and/or abilities required.

Education:

    • Bachelors degree in human resources Business Administration or a related field (required).
    • Professional certifications in HR or Talent Acquisition (e.g. SHRM-CP PHR or CPC) are a plus.
    • Additional certifications in executive search (e.g. AIRS or Recruiter Academy) are preferred.

Experience:

    • 3 years of experience in talent acquisition including at least 1 year focused on executive or senior-level recruitment.
    • Proven experience with sourcing and recruiting C-suite VP and Director-level candidates.
    • Strong digital recruitment experience including experience in creating and managing employer branding initiatives and using digital marketing tools to attract top talent.
    • Expertise in sourcing candidates using job boards social media and networking platforms (e.g. LinkedIn Indeed niche job boards).
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills for handling multiple requisitions and projects.
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
    • Creative approach to sourcing hard-to-find talent.
    • Commitment to delivering an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
    • Extensive experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools (LinkedIn Recruiter job boards social media etc.).
    • Strong experience in negotiation practices is required.
    • Applicable Healthcare industry recruitment experience is required.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage senior candidates and build long-term relationships.
    • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen to align recruitment efforts with company objectives.
    • Excellent interviewing assessment and decision-making skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • High level of professionalism discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
    • Proficiency in using various recruitment channels to identify qualified candidates.
    • Ability to conduct structured and effective interviews to assess candidate potential.
    • Knowledge of employment laws and best practices related to hiring and executive recruitment.

      Paid Time Off:
