Engineering Manager / Head of Engineering / Engineering Supervisor / Engineering Lead required to join a leading manufacturer of industrial machinery.
Engineering Manager / Head of Engineering / Engineering Supervisor shall be responsible for the management of 8 within the engineering team and ensure the smooth running of the processes and manufacturing.
The Engineering Manager / Head of Engineering / Engineering Supervisor must have managerial experience within a production / manufacturing environment and have a strong technical background in either Mechanical or Electrical engineering.

Engineering Manager / Head of Engineering / Engineering Supervisor role
- Responsible for the management of 8 persons in the engineering department.
- Ensure the smooth running of multiple complex machines and their production of packaging machinery.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and the maintenance of Health and Safety Environmental and Quality.
- Ensure that budgets are met including the preparation of annual operational and capital expenditure budgets.
- Act as the strategic manager for multiple engineering disciplines.
- Oversee and coordinate the employee development ensuring adequate training is provided for all.
- Liaise with various departments across the business.
- Role is based in Weyers Virginia.
Engineering Manager / Head of Engineering / Engineering Supervisor requirements
- Experience as an Engineer manager head of engineering engineering lead engineering director technical manager engineering supervisor technical director branch manager general manager or similar head of engineering role.
- Will have experience in Engineering management and lean manufacturing.
- Must have experience operating in a production / manufacturing environment that includes multiple machines producing multiple products.
- The successful candidate will ideally have knowledge of complex machinery / engineering machinery / systems.
- Specific knowledge of industrial packaging machinery is advantageous.
- A technical engineering degree in mechanical manufacturing or electrical engineering / electronics
- Willingness to commute to the manufacturing facility and be office based in Weyers Virginia.
