Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist Executive Education - Boca Raton FL

The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for the Office of Executive Education managing daily front office operations and providing high-level administrative and event support. This position interacts frequently with students faculty staff and university administrators as well as with external corporate partners and community members. The ideal candidate is a proactive detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at providing outstanding customer service.

High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution and two years of administrative experience required.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

Experience with Workday or similar ERP systems.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Professional communication and interpersonal skills.

Prior experience supporting event coordination or executive-level administrators.

Salary:

$19.15 - $21.55 per hour.

Boca Raton

Work Days and Hours:

Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Occasional evenings and weekends as needed.

Temporary positions are not established positions and are paid for by OPS funds.
Temporary positions are usually not eligible for benefits and retirement; however they may be eligible for health insurance coverage depending on the average hours worked per week. They provide full-time or part-time employment in an exempt or non-exempt employment situation based on job duties and salary in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Temporary positions do not have layoff rights and may be terminated without prior notice.
