Job Description
Clean Harbors Dallas TXis looking for aHazmat Disposal Technician - Hospitalto join their safety conscious team working on site for Hospitals of America! This person would be responsible for the performance of tasks associated with collecting segregating packing labeling and preparing for shipment ofmedical andhazardous waste in accordance with our company policies and procedures at our client location.
Must be willing to get vaccines with a specific focus on Hepatitis B and COVID. Also an annual TB test (blood test) or as needed.
Travel weekly to - (Richardson TX Dallas TX & Mansfield TX) areas

Responsibilities
Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
Prepares computer-generated packing lists labels manifests and land disposal restrictions notifications Performs inspections of staging accumulating and storage areas to ensure proper housekeeping procedures and compliance;
Inspects storage area for leaks or spills;
Inspectscontainers and drums for compliance with labeling regulations;
Collects segregates and properly packagesmedical waste/sharps and waste chemicals for disposal to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance
Physically demanding position; Must be able to lift 50 pounds andwalk 15000-25000 steps a day.
Qualifications
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors
- High Schooldiploma or equivalent;
- Valid driverslicense;
- Willingness to complete abackground check drug test and physical.
