Job Description

Our client a leading semiconductor client is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer.

Job Duration: Long-Term Contract (Possibility Of Further Extension & FT Conversion)

Job Location: San Diego CA

Rate: $41/hr on W2

Responsibilities:

Develop implement and maintain manufacturing processes methods and operational sequences for parts sub assemblies and final assemblies.

Coordinate with Design Engineering to release new products and support new product introductions.

Estimate manufacturing costs define time standards and recommend tooling and process requirements for new or existing products.

Create and update work instructions checklists troubleshooting guides and Bills of Materials (BOMs).

Test and qualify mechanical electrical and optical parts and modules; work with suppliers to improve incoming material quality.

Support production technicians with training and hands-on troubleshooting of assembly test calibration and certification processes.

Execute test plans collect and analyze data and report findings to drive improvements.

Apply statistical process control (SPC) methods to analyze manufacturing data and optimize processes.

Support continuous improvement initiatives cost reduction projects and engineering change activities.

Read and interpret design drawings schematics and update models or drawings using CAD tools like SolidWorks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality Engineering Production Sales) and communicate technical updates effectively.

Education:

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Physics Materials Science or a related technical discipline (required).

Master s degree in a related field (preferred but not required).

Additional training or experience with CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks) structural analysis Finite Element Analysis (FEA) or Quality Systems is a plus.
