Job Description
We re looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to ensure that all vehicle retrofit activities meet required safety performance and workmanship standards. You ll be responsible for inspecting mechanical and electrical work carried out during the conversion of vehicles to electric drive ensuring consistent quality before road deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect mechanical and electrical retrofit work at various stages of the process.
Verify that technicians are following approved procedures and quality standards.
Identify defects or non-conformities and document them clearly.
Assist in implementing corrective actions and verifying rework.
Maintain inspection records checklists and daily quality logs.
- Support final testing and validation of converted vehicles before handover.
Requirements
OND HND or in Mechanical Electrical/Electronics Engineering (or related fields).
Experience in quality inspection vehicle service or production QA/QC.
Ability to identify poor workmanship or safety risks in vehicle systems.
Familiarity with retrofit processes tools and components is an advantage.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
OND, HND, or in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related fields. Practical experience in electrical installation or system wiring (experience with vehicle wiring is a plus) Proficiency in using multimeters and basic electrical tools. Strong focus on precision, safety, and process discipline.
