PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Direct Support Professional duties and tasks my include but are not limited to:
- Follow established policies and procedures set by the agency.
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including personal hygiene meal preparation and medication management.
- Implement and follow individualized care plans and behavioral support programs
- Facilitate community integration and socialization activities for clients
- Always maintain the highest standard of conduct and courtesy in dealing with clients their family the staff and the community. Promote positive interaction.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay informed on best practices/policies
- Monitor and document client progress behaviors and any incidents
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients
- Assist with transportation to appointments activities and other outings
QUALIFICATIONS:
- No job-related experience necessary! Ravenna Ohio
- 18 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Must possess a valid current drivers license.
- Ability to complete and pass a background check per company standards.
- Positive attitude with the desire to help others.
