Job Description

cFocus Software seeks a Mid-Level Geospatial Analyst to join our program supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This position is on-site in Springfield VA. This position requires a Public Trust Clearance

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or masters degree in IT Computer Science Geography or a related field.
  • 8 years of GIS experience
  • 8 years of experience with ESRI Suite ArcGIS Online ArcGIS Enterprise AWS & DHS Policies and Procedures
Duties:
  • Performs data collection analysis interpretation and management duties.
  • Prepare presentations that reflect the results of the data analysis.
  • Works with scientists and other technical experts to design and develop statistical analyses methodologies.
  • Provides specific analysis and research for homeland security mission areas (i.e. critical infrastructure protection flood risk modeling law enforcement operations etc.).
  • Prepares assessments of current threats and trends based on the sophisticated collection research and analysis of classified and open-source information.
  • Leads technical demonstrations exchanges and other technical presentations on materials and analysis generated.
