JOB SUMMARY
Job Profile Summary
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Work within guidelines and parameters as established by Company Safety Manual operation procedures and in compliance with all federal state and local regulations
Provide planning for in-line inspection projects.
Launching and receiving of pigs.
Pipeline hydro-testing and dehydration.
Chemical and mechanical cleaning and industrial services of pipelines.
Pig tracking and AGM stationing.
In the bell hole pipeline integrity testing.
Pipe integrity inspections. Utilize scanning tools UT Machine and mechanical tools to assess and inspect pipe.
Documentation and evaluation of associated activities for client pipeline operators.
Assist other departments with operations and team projects.
Serve as liaison with customers to estimate and quote project work. Coordinate and schedule work crews to cover customer requirements and requests.
Education
H.S. Diploma
Work Experience
5-10 years of experience in on shore gas transmission and or hazardous liquid pipeline engineering pipeline operations or pipeline construction
5 years regulated gas or hazardous liquid integrity management experience.
Field Operations is preferred
Experience training and/or knowledge of pipeline operations and regulations related to Asset Integrity 49 CFR 195
Experience interacting advising and communicating effectively both orally and in writing preferred
Experience in scheduling or dispatch preferred
Experience with all relevant safety codes and regulations. Familiar with industry practices and permitting requirements for pipeline design construction and pipeline assessment techniques/applications
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Ability to: learn and use new software and technology
Skills in: Microsoft Excel ESRI GIS applications and utilizing mobile technology.
Ability to: to communicate and/or exchange written and verbal information or instructions; conduct oral presentations
Ability to: learn and perform other jobs as required for relief assignments.
Ability to: perform duties with a set timeline follow a schedule and be forward thinking for pre planning of jobs.
Ability to: work in confined spaces (i.e. tanks between compressors vessels).
Ability to: get in and out of vehicles regularly and ride over rough roads.
