Were on the hunt for our next Resource Coordinator. This individual is responsible for connecting members to vital resourceslike housing healthcare legal aid and childcareto overcome barriers and build stability. With dynamic workshops and strategic partnerships it fuels personal and professional growth while keeping everything on point with progress tracking outreach and donor engagement. This isnt just supportits launching lives forward.
The Awesome Things Youll Do
- Develop and maintain social service resources and contacts to facilitate members specific needs.
- Provides resources to members to off-set employability and living barriers such as clothing medical housing shelter food legal/immigration childcare/day care eviction and basic family issues.
- Design and administer basic workshops to better prepare for the world of work.
- Develop community relations with local and regional agencies as well as CBOs to provide in-house life skills educational and world of work informational sessions to members and staff.
- Enter assignments service and progress notes in Salesforce for each member serviced.
- Secure donations from corporations and private donors for member events and needs.
- Participate in field outreach and community engagement events.
- Prepare weekly Progress Reports for management.
- Attends GW and HRA meetings and training as required.
Our Must Haves
- BA degree in Social Services Counseling or related field preferred.
- 2-3years experience in a similar administrative position and working with a diverse disadvantaged population.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be service oriented assertive and a self-starter.
- Able to motivate and be a role model to staff and clients.
- Good working knowledge of MS Word.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Display strong leadership skills and is a team player.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to plan organize and prioritize work.
