Business Service Generalist Perform activities concerned with the fiscal operations of the district. Including administrative duties for the Business Department.
Essential functions
- Receives processes invoices and prepares vouchers
- Reconciles invoices with receiving documents and purchase order
- Prepares reports and bank deposits
- Attends in-service trainings staff meetings workshops etc. as requested
- Maintains various fiscal information files and records
- Processes Insurance billing and reconciliation
- Compiles reports and requests for the Districts annual fiscal audit
- Gathers information for state and federal reporting
- Performs secretarial and administrative duties for the Business Department Administration
- Assists with collecting of data for State and Federal financial reports
- Conveys records and updates fiscal information as directed
- Proficient in computer operation and programs such as Microsoft Office-Word PowerPoint Outlook and Excel
- Orients personnel regarding various procedures and program requirements
- Familiar with school procedures record keeping and retention requirements
- Assists other personnel as may be required and performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of school business experience or equivalent job experience-preferred
- Pre-employment Proficiency Test maybe required
- Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance
- Ability to read write and communicate clearly in English
- Ability to use standard office equipment (i.e. computer telephone copier fax calculator etc.)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
