Title: Compliance & Credentialing Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY
The Compliance & Credentialing Analyst is a key contributor to the Legal & Compliance Department at Catholic Charities of Twin Cities(CCTC) reporting directly to the Compliance and Grants Director. This position plays an essential role in ensuring organizational integrity through oversight of legal regulatory contractual and credentialing compliance.
The analyst supports a wide range of agency functions including risk assessment internal audits funder monitoring visits policy development and staff training. The role collaborates closely with leadership and program teams to strengthen compliance practices reduce audit exposure and support operational accountability.
By evaluating contract terms regulatory obligations and licensing requirements the analyst helps safeguard the agency from risk while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and regulatory excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Regulatory Compliance and Policy Evaluation 30%
- Reviews and evaluates agency policies procedures contracts and grant agreements for compliance with federal state local and funder-specific regulations.
- Analyzes complex legal and regulatory requirements to identify risks and ensure organizational alignment.
- Drafts reviews and maintains internal compliance documentation including SOPs work tools and checklists.
- Monitors legislative and regulatory developments relevant to the agencys operations and provides timely proactive guidance.
- Recommends and implements enhancements to strengthen system-wide compliance and accountability.
Monitoring Audit and Oversight Support 25%
- Assists the Compliance and Grants Director in planning and executing funder and oversight agency monitoring visits.
- Coordinates the collection compilation and submission of documentation from Programs and Shared Services Departments.
- Drafts clear accurate responses to monitoring inquiries audit findings and funder requests.
- Ensures all documentation and communications related to audits and reviews are timely professional and complete.
- Supports efforts to maintain positive relationships with external oversight entities.
Reporting and Programmatic Compliance Support 20%
- Collaborates with program and departmental leaders to meet all external reporting requirements tied to contracts and funding.
- Provides technical assistance and guidance to ensure accurate timely and compliant data submissions.
- Assists in the development and submission of compliance-related reports across the agency.
- Ensures consistency and accuracy in data reporting to support transparency and accountability.
- Supports internal documentation tracking to facilitate audit readiness and ongoing reporting compliance.
Credentialing Screening and Eligibility Verification 15%
- Conducts background checks debarment suspension and exclusion screenings for contractors board members and other required parties.
- Periodically evaluates licensing and credentialing requirements across programs to ensure alignment with applicable regulations.
- Partners with program leaders to address gaps in credentials or qualifications and supports necessary remediation steps.
- Maintains up-to-date records and tracking systems to monitor ongoing credentialing compliance.
- Recommends improvements to credentialing processes to promote efficiency and reduce risk.
Compliance System Enhancement and Risk Mitigation 10%
- Participates in the evaluation and continuous improvement of the agencys internal compliance infrastructure.
- Assists in the development of risk mitigation strategies and tools that support regulatory preparedness.
- Contributes to the creation and implementation of compliance-related training materials and initiatives.
- Identifies emerging risks and proposes practical forward-looking solutions.
- Supports a culture of ethical awareness prevention and accountability throughout the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in regulatory compliance contract administration credentialing or a related area within housing social services or nonprofit sectors.
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal state and funder-specific compliance requirements with experience interpreting and implementing complex regulatory frameworks.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities lead special projects and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion integrity and confidentiality.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word Excel PowerPoint Visio and SharePoint with the ability to create and train others on system-based tools and templates.
- Experience conducting credentialing background checks and eligibility screenings in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including individuals experiencing homelessness housing instability or mental health challenges with cultural humility and respect.
- Post-secondary education in public administration legal studies social work compliance or a related field is preferred but not required.
