As a Regulatory Enablement Lead youll play a critical role in guiding the Consumer Insurance business through complex regulatory landscapes ensuring we remain accountable compliant and ahead of the curve.
What Youll Do
In this unique and impactful role youll:
- Lead oversight and coordination of regulatory initiatives across Consumer and Group ensuring compliance with obligations such as GICOP PFI and ASIC MAP (REP 768)
- Partner with business stakeholders to conduct gap assessments identify risks and align activity to regulatory expectations
- Develop high-quality briefing packs updates and reports to executive leaders and governance forums
- Provide program oversight and governance across regulatory workstreams managing sequencing and dependencies
- Engage with internal stakeholders across Transformation Risk Technology and Insurance Operations
- Support external regulatory responses (ASIC ICA etc.) with clear aligned and timely communication
- Use tools like IRIIS Confluence and JIRA to maintain oversight and ensure accurate recordkeeping
What Youll Bring
- 2 years in insurance or financial services with exposure to risk compliance or regulatory environments
- At least 1 year of experience in project delivery or transformation programs
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills including experience influencing senior leaders
- Proven ability to manage time prioritise competing tasks and operate in fast-paced environments
- A proactive solutions-focused mindset with strong analytical and governance capabilities
- Experience working with regulatory frameworks and platforms like IRIIS is desirable
