Job Description
Will be assisting our full time mechanics: fixing equipment as it breaks down, but a lot of just preventive maintenance type tasks ? oiling equipment, turning wrenches, making sure things are ready to operate.
- Mechanical aptitude- basic understanding of mechanical systems
- Pneumatic systems- air power actuators
- Precision alignment- conveyor belts, drive belts, shaft alignments
- Preventive and predictive maintenance ? knowledge of infrared thermography, Infrared Thermometer
- Troubleshooting
- Safety and compliance
Minimum years of experience would be 1 year, but candidates with mechanical classes or working around farm equipment could be considered.
It will be day shift for the summer, but if they continue on in the fall and winter we would want them to be shift flexible.
