Job Description:
Aghanya Technology is seeking skilled and dedicated Desktop Engineers to join our growing team in Chennai. As a Desktop Engineer you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance for the hardware and software systems within the organization. This is a full-time position based at our office and the successful candidate will play an integral role in ensuring smooth IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:Hardware Support: Manage and maintain desktop computers laptops and related equipment.
Software Installation & Maintenance: Install and update necessary software on all desktops and laptops.
Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting support for hardware and software issues for internal staff.
System Configuration: Configure and deploy new desktop systems ensuring all required software is installed and properly set up.
Network Support: Assist with basic network setup and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Documentation: Maintain records of desktop configurations support requests and resolutions.
Security & Backup: Ensure all systems are secure and manage backups as per company guidelines.
User Training: Provide support and basic training for users regarding desktop systems and applications.
Requirements:Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in desktop support IT helpdesk or similar roles.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of hardware components operating systems (Windows Linux etc.) basic networking and software troubleshooting.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff and vendors.
Adaptability: Ability to work independently and as part of a team manage time efficiently and multitask as required.
