Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Workday Finance Integrations Consultant with strong technical skills and a deep understanding of financial business processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Workday integration tools (Studio EIB Core Connectors Web Services) and solid domain knowledge in areas like General Ledger (GL) Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Accounts Payable/Receivable and Accounting.
This role will be responsible for designing building and maintaining integrations between Workday and various external systems while also partnering closely with Finance stakeholders to ensure functional alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design develop and support integrations using Workday Studio EIB Core Connectors Web Services (SOAP/REST).
Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams to gather integration and reporting requirements.
Translate finance processes (e.g. GL postings supplier payments journal entries) into Workday technical solutions.
Build and maintain integrations with financial systems such as banks ERPs (e.g. SAP Oracle) or third-party vendors.
Create and optimize inbound/outbound interfaces for modules like P2P AP/AR and GL.
Ensure integration solutions are secure scalable and compliant with finance and data governance standards.
Support testing documentation deployment and post-go-live maintenance.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
4 years of experience with Workday integrations including hands-on development in Workday Studio.
Strong experience in finance modules/processes like General Ledger Accounting Procurement Accounts Payable and Asset Management.
Proficient in XML XSLT JSON and Web Services (SOAP REST).
Experience working with calculated fields custom reports and Workday security.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with finance stakeholders and translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have:
Prior experience integrating with ERP or finance platforms (e.g. SAP Oracle NetSuite).
Knowledge of Workday Financials data model and accounting rules engine.
Workday certifications in Integrations or Financials.
Experience with Workday Prism or Workday Extend.
Education:
Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
