Job Description
Were looking for a Lead Back-End Software Engineer to join our high-performing team at Bilue. In this hands-on leadership role youll be responsible for designing developing and optimising high-quality backend systems in a modern .NET environment. Youll work across cloud-native solutions using AWS Serverless technologies like Lambda and Fargate as well as MVC/ web applications and .NET WPF desktop applications.
Youll play a key role in delivering robust secure and scalable APIs and services that meet the high standards expected by our clients. As a senior technical voice in the team youll lead by example when it comes to clean code mentoring others and driving continuous improvement across delivery practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable high-performance backend services using .NET/C# with a focus on quality maintainability and performance
- Lead the development of cloud-based APIs and microservices in an AWS Serverless environment including Lambda Fargate API Gateway and supporting infrastructure
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of MVC/ web applications and .NET WPF desktop applications
- Collaborate closely with engineers designers and product managers to align on architecture scope and solution design
- Write and enforce high standards for clean well-documented and testable code
- Implement best practices for CI/CD including automation deployment pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Drive robust testing practices and ensure backend systems are resilient secure and observable
- Lead code reviews provide mentoring and technical guidance to team members and support professional growth
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends especially in the .NET and cloud-native space and bring that knowledge back to the team
- Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape backend strategy across client projects
Qualifications :
About You
- 6 years of experience in backend development using .NET/C# with demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience
- Hands-on experience with AWS particularly Lambda Fargate API Gateway and related serverless services
- Solid experience building and maintaining cloud-based APIs and microservices with a strong understanding of scalability performance and security
- Proficient in building MVC/ web applications and WPF desktop applications
- Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines automated testing frameworks and modern DevOps practices
- Strong communicator able to explain technical decisions clearly to developers and stakeholders alike
- Experienced working in Agile environments with cross-functional delivery teams
- Passionate about software craftsmanship and continuous improvement
- Proactive self-motivated and capable of driving quality outcomes independently or as part of a team
