Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection systems.
Monitor production processes and conduct root cause analysis for product defects.
Lead internal audits and support external audits (ISO IATF etc.).
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and improve product reliability.
Maintain documentation of inspection procedures reports and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards throughout the production cycle.
Track key quality metrics such as First Pass Yield (FPY) DPPM and customer complaints.
Provide training to production staff on quality tools and techniques.
Support supplier quality management and conduct supplier audits when necessary.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma 5S Kaizen or similar methodologies.
Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial / Production Engineering or equivalent.
Certification in Quality Management (e.g. Six Sigma Green Belt ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) is a plus.
Proficiency in quality tools such as SPC FMEA 8D PPAP MSA and CAPA.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in inspection/reporting.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / ISO 13485 standards.
Familiarity with measurement equipment like vernier calipers micrometers CMM etc.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software/tools (e.g. Minitab).
