Job Description
Job Title: Behavioral Health Urgent Care Supervisor
Location: Southgate MI
Salary: $35.60-$47.92/hour
Shift:
- Monday-Thursday: 4:00 PM-12:00 AM
- Friday: 4:00 PM-10:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:30 AM-2:00 PM
Job Overview:
We are hiring an experienced Supervisor to oversee the Behavioral Health Urgent Care team. This evening-based leadership role involves managing clinical operations for urgent mental health services including triage crisis support referral coordination and staff development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train urgent care team members
- Lead team meetings consultations and structured debriefings
- Oversee delivery of in-person and telehealth services for children and adults
- Support law enforcement and first responders per partnership agreements
- Ensure documentation quality standards and scheduling compliance
- Collaborate with internal leadership and community partners
- Submit reports and track program performance metrics
- Participate in hiring performance reviews and team development
- Maintain clinical licensure complete required training and uphold ethical standards
Qualifications:
- Masters in Social Work Psychology or Counseling
- Full licensure in Michigan (LMSW LLP or LPC) Required
- Minimum 3 years of experience treating adults/children with mental health needs
- At least 1 year of experience working with I/DD and/or substance use disorders
- Eligible for QMHP QIDP QCMHP credentials at hire
- CAADC credential or MCBAP Development Plan within 6 weeks of hire
- Strong crisis management assessment and documentation skills
- Cultural competency and experience working in diverse community settings
